Greek Dance
The purpose of the Greek Dancing program at Saint Barbara is to teach students the various traditions of Greece through dance. Students will learn the "Pan-Hellenic" dances such as Kalamatiano, and Hasaposerviko, but also dances that are from specific Hellenic regions such as Cyprus, Crete, Pontos, Macedonia, and Thrace.
Dancers may enroll in the beginner group starting in first grade and will continue dancing until they finish their senior year in high school.
